Both run on natural gas. They heat a garage in different ways, and the right one depends on how you use the space.
Warm the floor, the car and you directly, the way the sun does. Because the floor and car hold that heat, the garage recovers quickly after the door opens, and nothing blows dust around. The heat is strongest close to the heater, which can be a lot over a workbench under a low ceiling. Best for parking and occasional projects.
Work like your furnace: a fan moves warm air through the whole garage for even heat from wall to wall. Warm air rises and escapes when the door opens, so it takes longer to recover. Best for a workshop, gym or anywhere you spend hours at a time.
We look at your garage’s size, insulation and gas supply, and how you use the space, then give you a written price. No obligation.
Supplied and installed by our own gasfitters, priced after we see your garage.

We size the heater to your garage’s floor area, ceiling height and insulation, and how warm you want it. A heater works best in an insulated garage; if yours is not, we will tell you on the consult.
Our own gasfitters take out the gas permit, run the line, mount the heater with the manufacturer’s clearances, vent it outside and test it before we leave.
We recommend a carbon monoxide alarm in any garage with a gas heater, and can put one in on the same visit. About CO alarms.
They came on time and started working right off the bat. Never seen them take a break.
Usually, yes. How much work it takes depends on where your gas supply is. We look at the run on the consult and include the line in the written price.
Radiant suits a garage used mostly for parking and occasional projects: it is quiet and recovers quickly after the door opens. Forced air suits a workshop or gym where you want even heat across the whole space.
Garage heaters are built for garages. What matters is the install: the manufacturer’s clearances from anything that can burn, proper venting to outside, and a carbon monoxide alarm in the space, which we recommend with every install.
It depends on the heater’s type and size and how much gas line it needs. We give you a written price after a consult, before any work starts.
Yes. Gas work in Alberta needs a permit and an inspection. Our own gasfitters take out the permit as part of the install.
