Understanding Duct Sealing:
To begin, all supply and return vents are located and sealed thoroughly to ensure no air can pass through. A blower, connected to a computer system, pressurizes the duct system and measures the lost energy or leakage in cubic feet per minute, pinpointing the extent of the problem.
To address the leaks, a fan with a nozzle is connected to inject Aeroseal into the ducts via a flexible, transparent hose. The sealant particles, carried through the pressurized ductwork, effectively close gaps and holes from both the inside and outside.
